Abstract
This event program documents the October 29, 1994, dedication ceremonies for the Jim Bill McInteer Bible and World Missions Center and the adjacent C.L. Kay Plaza at Harding University. Developed as the centerpiece of "The Dream Continues" capital campaign, the facility houses the College of Bible and Religion, the James and Bonnie Cone Administrative Center, the Paul and June Carter Auditorium, the C.L. Kay Center for World Missions, the Charles and Nadine Baum Video Services Center, the Harvey and Bernice Jones Counseling Center, and the Harding School of Biblical Studies. The publication provides a biographical portrait of namesake Jim Bill McInteer (Class of 1942 alumnus, trustee, minister, and president of 20th Century Christian Foundation), highlighting his decades of service to the institution. The document outlines proceedings for the dedication chapel in Benson Auditorium and plaza ceremonies, featuring participation by President Dr. David B. Burks, Chancellor Dr. Clifton L. Ganus Jr., Board Chairman James H. Cone, Dean Dr. Carl Mitchell, Student Association President Nathan Mellor, Mrs. C.L. Kay, C.W. Bradley, and the Choral Union directed by Dr. Arthur Shearin.
