    Abstract

    The Brackett Library was built to replace the outgrown and often leaking and confusing layout of the much expanded upon Beaumont Memorial Library.

    Participating in the ceremony were:

    • Dr. David B. Burks, President 
    • Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brackett
    • Floyd Daniel, Vice President for University Relations
    • Suzanne Spurrier, Library Director
    • Dr. Neale Pryor, Vice President for Academic Affairs
    • James Cone, Chairman of Board of Trustees
    • Jimmy Cone, Contractor

    The video also contains speeches held at the Brackett Library dedication dinner.   Richard Gibson, member of the Board of Trustees, and Floyd Daniel were the main speakers. The speeches start 31 minutes into the video.
