Abstract
This event documents the October 29, 2016, dedication ceremony for the renovated and expanded Rhodes-Reaves Field House at Harding University. Originally a World War II airplane hangar converted into a gymnasium, the venue serves as the home court for the Bison and Lady Bison basketball teams and the Lady Bison volleyball team. Key facility additions include a new entrance addition, a second-level hospitality suite, an eastern practice facility, new basketball dressing rooms, and expanded weight and volleyball locker rooms. The program honors lead donors Roy Reaves (Class of 1965 and Board of Trustees Chairman) and Becky Reaves and records ceremony proceedings featuring remarks by President Dr. Bruce McLarty, Chancellor Dr. David B. Burks, Chancellor Emeritus Dr. Clifton L. Ganus Jr., Vice President Dr. Bryan Burks, and Athletic Director Greg Harnden.
