Abstract

Student Association president senior Dakota Ellis pursued an idea inspired by President Bruce McLarty to clean up part of Harding's backyard: Gin Creek. The recreation area was named in honor of Nicholas Smith, a Harding student who was tragically killed in an automobile accident on March 7, 2015.

The dedication ceremony was led by Dr. Bruce McLarty, Dakota Ellis, Richard and Amy Smith, and Trey Smith.
