I have been a fan of Jane Austen since high school. Having read all of her novels several times yet craving more, I turned to the myriad of fan fiction available. I stumbled across Syrie James’ The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen in Barnes & Noble and bought it immediately. Ms. James has captured the essence Austen’s voice. She weaves a tale of love and loss, joy and sorrow. The book shares her own poignant theory of the great, secret love of Jane Austen’s life. If you like Jane Austen, this book is a must.
