About the Author

Eddie Supratman absolutely loves being a part of the ASU Beebe family. He is always willing to lend a hand in to assist students, instructors, and staff members. His dream is to inspire everyone he meets to change the status quo by refusing to listen to condescending or pessimistic voices. He believes in educating and transforming the whole person. His love for his students extends way beyond the classroom. Eddie initiated and led several field trips for his students in an effort to broaden their world view. The first was a 3-day field trip to the Dallas area for his Comparative Religion class since 2007. His second effort was an 8-day field trip to El Salvador for his Ancient World History class since 2017. This summer (2019), he led the first 12-day field trip to Taiwan for his Modern World History class. Students experience communication at a global level in the classroom through the use of Zoom video through partnerships with El Salvador, Venezuela, Taiwan, and Punjab (India). Eddie is blessed to have been married to Michelle with 19 years of marriage and 4 children (Greg-16, Jayden-14, Michael-12 and Kai-5). Most importantly, Eddie gives all the praise to God who gives him the talent and passion to love humanity.
