Course design plays a huge role in the success of a course. In fact, designers and instructors claim that course design greatly impacts the success or failure of the course with regard to student understanding and student experience. In this session, we will examine how the design of activities can impact students’ knowledge construction and how course structure both affects the brain’s ability to organize information and impacts the emotional experience. Join this session to see practical examples of how to create course design with the brain in mind!
