Abstract
Legacy Park was released in phases. The first phase was completed in 2012 with the construction of apartment buildings to house students. Each apartment building bears the nameplate of a past Harding legend.
Those being honored are: J.D. and Mary Bales, S.A. Bell, M. E. "Pinky" and Rheba Berryhill, Leslie and Corinne Burke, Dale and Joan Coleman, Alvin and Georgia Hobby, Annie May Alston Lewis, EW. and Mildred Mattox, John Dow and Helen Pearl Merritt, Erle and Mona Moore, L.E . and Queetro Pryor, Andy and Kathryn Ritchie, Roy and Marj Sawyer, Jack Wood and Mattie Sue Sears and Buford and Ermal Tucker.

Legacy Park phases one through three are all student housing. Phase four includes residencies in Legacy Park. Phase five implements the construction of a 12-unit condominium project where Harding staff, alumni and community members can live.
