The story centers on two women from different time periods, one from the nineties and the other a young pioneer on the Oregon Trail, whose paths cross through a diary and a quilt that was passed down through generations. Both face very similar struggles, learning to surrender to God's unconditional love. As we face our own trials and struggles, this book reminds us to stay close to God through hard times and to be grateful for everything that He provides.
