Description
Jerusalem Russian Church Second Wall in Church of St. Alexander Nevsky in the Old City. This is evidence that the location of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre was outside of Jerusalem's walls in Jesus' day. Second wall was built by Herod the Great. They have the threshold of a gate commonly called "The Judgement Gate" where the condemned would go out to Golgotha.
