About the Author

Eric Bond is the Director of Database and Systems Administration at Harding University with over 30 years of experience in the IT sector. Since 1994, he has helped manage complex systems for major institutions including the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and the US Environmental Protection Agency. With a career that marches through the progression of thought in computing, Eric provides a comprehensive look at the intersection of systems administration and modern cybersecurity.

Richard Schneider is a security analyst and Linux engineer with nearly 15 years of experience in higher education IT. He holds an MSIS with a concentration in information security and has earned the OSCP ethical hacking certification. In addition to working in Harding's IT department, he teaches a data ethics course in the MSIS program and for more than a decade has evaluated the AI of Harding computer science capstone projects.
