Description

Peerceptiv has traditionally been considered an online tool for peer assessment, team member evaluation, and writing development and feedback. However, Peerceptiv is beneficial for a much broader variety of educational applications. This presentation will dive into the deeper uses of Peerceptiv, particularly those that promote growth in practical and hands-on skills designed to prepare students for future careers. Additionally, the discussion will include the use of group feedback to better align students with growth opportunities in the classroom. Participants will be provided with a demonstration of the simple process of  Peerceptiv integration into a Canvas course, and example uses for both hands-on skills assessment and group work assessment. The Peerceptive tools discussed in this session will be beneficial to any educator who seeks to develop their students' hands-on skills, provide effective feedback, and develop self-assessment skills. Time will be provided for questions and additional demonstrations.
