Abstract
An essay is presented on the art ethics used by novelist D.H. Lawrence which highlights its relationship with philosophers Martin Heidegger and Emmanuel Levinas. It offers a discussion of the ethical discourse between Heidegger's individual authenticity ontology and Levinas's radical alterity. The author also discusses the use of Heideggerian posture in his novels.
