Abstract
A literary criticism of the poem "Iliad" by Homer is presented. It examines the immortality of the persona Achilles characterized by pain and mortality, and evaluates the factors influencing the travel made by the dramatist Priam towards the Lord of the Dead, Hades. It also mentions the prediction of the mother of Achilles in Book XVIII. An overview of the death of Achilles is also given.
