Teaching....learning....remembering....engaging…. these are just some of the words that could be used to summarize the educational experience. As teachers we want students to learn and retain that learning as they transition into their professional lives. Research indicates that engagement is one of the critical factors in achieving this goal. Come explore a few strategies to enhance student engagement with your content. Strategies can be applied to several presentation methods, but PowerPoint and Prezi will be specifically covered.

About the Author

Dr. Diana Tepe is the Senior Instructional Designer at Harding and has a passion for education. She has worked designing, developing and delivering training for over 20 years, in both higher ed. and corporate environments. She currently adjuncts for an Interior Design course here at Harding University as well. She is always striving to find ways to engage students and help them see the value in the educational experience.
