Description
The namesake of the Belden Center was the founder of Lomanco (Louver Manufacturing Company) today located in Jacksonville, Arkansas, a company that builds, among other things, the patented Vari-Pitch Louver and wind-driven turbines for home ventilation systems.
A believer in the free-enterprise system, Belden, entrepreneur, helped fund and train others in building self-sufficient companies. His legacy lives on through the generosity of his family and the Carter College of Business Administration at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
