About the Author
Marcus D. McCormick is a senior history major with minors in English and ancient languages from Austin, Texas. As a sophomore, he was able to travel to Greece, Italy and Israel with Harding University’s HUG (Harding University in Greece) program, where he enjoyed learning language and history in close contact to classical and biblical settings, as well as pursuing his outdoor passions by hiking Mount Olympus and in the Trossach Mountains of Scotland. At Harding he is a member of the Omega Phi men’s social club, is a member of the Honors College, and is historian for the Phi Alpha Theta honors society. He is interested in pursuing graduate studies in classical history.
