This article looks at how the Pony Express was romanticized in the years following its end and contrasts that with information about the operation of the real Pony Express.

About the Author

Paxton Davis is a senior History major from Dresden, Tennessee. He is a member of the Harding men’s Cross- Country and Track Teams and Phi Alpha Theta. After graduation he plans to work with museum collections.
