Abstract

This articles looks into the creation of a display in the Harding University Brackett Library in the fall of 2020. The display highlights the 946 members of the Harding community who, in 1957, signed a statement of attitude regarding their desire to fully integrate the school.

About the Author

Hannah Wood, Harding University assistant professor and archives & special collections librarian, holds an MA in Museum Studies from The George Washington University (2006) and a BA in History from Harding University (2002). Before returning to Harding, she worked for the National Park Service as a historical interpreter, providing educational tours and visitor services. She currently holds certification as a Digital Archives Specialist from the Society of American Archivists and oversees the Harding History House museum.
