Julie E. Harris is a professor of history at Harding University. She teaches Western Civilization, Early Modern History, Classical World, History of England, Women's History, Philosophy, and Geography. She has been the sponsor of the Eta Phi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta since 2003. She has been the sponsor of the Phi Alpha Theta journal, Tenor of Our Times, since its inception in 2012. She is also now one of the sponsors of the Eta chapter of Alpha Chi at Harding, as well as the sponsor of the new Alpha Chi/ Honors journal, Ex Sapientia Loqui.
