C. S. Lewis models for 21st century Christians how to "give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" (1 Peter 3:15). Based on his BBC radio broadcasts during World War II, Mere Christianity is a clear, reasoned, compelling example of how to explain the Christian faith to those who do not understand or share our faith. Now, 75 years since Lewis' broadcasts were first heard, this book continues to speak powerfully into the conversations of our postmodern times.
