About This Journal
Tenor of Our Times is a journal of student historical work jointly produced by the Eta Phi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta and the History and Political Science Department of Harding University. The journal was first published in the Spring 2012. Since that time, our editorial staff has increased from three editors to five, with a supporting faculty editorial board drawn from across the globe and a student editorial board of six sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Submissions are accepted until the end of January, and then the journal is published in late April. In the Spring of 2015, Tenor participated in the Phi Alpha Theta Nash Journal Competition, and won third place. In 2016, Tenor won in both the print and on-line journal categories.
