Description

This book is a normative audit of the past hundred years in the U.S. economy. As we tiptoe into the new millennium, we are the oldest living republic. However, let's remember that our Constitution doesn't guarantee us a good life, prosperous life, a happy life, or even a long life. It only offers the protection of life. We make of our lives what we will. We should bet on the long run future success of American capitalism. If we don't have a future, nobody does.
